Tatum Bruden was born on February 16, 1999. She trains at Arizona Sunrays.
In the fall of 2006, Tatum competed level four. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2007. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. Tatum competed level six in 2008. She placed in the top fifteen at the State Championships. She immediately began competing level seven in 2009. She finished second on beam at the Mardi Gras Challenge. She finished second on bars at the Hardrock Invitational. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She made the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall.
Tatum competed level eight in 2010. She finished fourth all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational and third all-around at the Mardi Gras Challenge. She finished first on bars at the Jessica Kleya Memorial Invitational. She placed second on vault and fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. In 2011, Tatum competed level nine. She won floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Classic Rock Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. She competed at Regionals. She placed tenth on beam at Westerns.
