Lisa Burt was born on July 17, 1994. She trained at Powerhouse Gymnastics through the 2006 season. She then moved to ACE Gymnastics in Florida. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2004, Lisa competed level seven. She finished third all-around and first on vault at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She competed level eight in 2006. She won bars at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. At Regionals, she won bars and finished 12th all-around. Lisa began competing level nine in 2007. She finished in the top ten at the Maryland Classic. She won the all-around at the Charleston Cup. Lisa finished 12th all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at Easterns.
Lisa began competing level ten in 2008. She finished second on bars at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, she won floor. She finished fourth all-around. Lisa competed at JO Nationals. In 2009, she finished second at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won bars at the Charleston Cup. At the Tampa Bay Turner's Invitational, Lisa finished third all-around. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on vault and fourth all-around. She competed at her second JO National Championships.
She continued to have strong results in 2010. Lisa won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Tampa Bay Turner's Invitational. She won bars and beam at the Daytona Beach Open. At the Charleston Cup, she finished third on beam. Lisa placed second on beam at the State Championships. After a rough bar routine at Regionals, she bounced back to win a silver on beam at Regionals. In 2011, Lisa finished first on bars and floor at the Flip Fest Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. Lisa won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Daytona Beach Open. She won vault and the all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she won bars, beam and the all-around. She competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup. Lisa won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars, beam and the all-around. She placed fifth on beam at JO Nationals. She finished 22nd all-around.
