Allison Bushman was born on January 23, 1996. She trained at Illinois Gymnastics Institute until the spring of 2007. She then moved to Hawaii and began training at Hawaiian Island Twisters. She returned to IGI in the fall of 2010. Allison will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2005, Allison competed level six. She qualified to the State Championships. She moved up to level seven for the 2006-2007 season. In December, she won bars and floor at the St. Nick Invite. In 2007, Allison won bars at the Flips USA Invitational. At the State Championships, she won the uneven bars title. She moved up to level nine in 2008. She won vault and beam at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. At the Battle in Seattle, she won vault, bars and the all-around. Allison finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at Westerns.

She continued competing level nine in 2009. She won floor at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet and bars at the Tachi Palace Invitational. At the State Championships, she won the all-around title! Allison placed fourth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at Westerns, placing sixth on bars. She moved up to level ten in 2010. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Battle in Seattle. At Regionals, she placed fifth all-around and third on floor. She ended her season at JO Nationals with a tenth place finish on vault. In 2011, she finished third on bars at the Twistars Invitational. She finished fourth all-around and first on vault at the Classic Rock Invitational. Allison won floor at the State Championships. She placed sixth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed ninth on floor.
