Alexis Cadden was born on September 29, 1997. She competes with Team Lightning out of Erie Gymnastics Center. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2006, Alexis competed level seven. She won bars and the all-around at the Stars and Stripes Invitational. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Alexis moved up to level eight in 2007. She won floor at the Stars and Stripes Invitational. Alexis qualified to event finals at the Arnold Challenge. She competed at Regionals. Alexis moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished first on beam at the Stars and Stripes Invitational. She finished sixth all-around and second on vault at the State Championships.

Alexis continued competing level nine in 2009. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Stars and Stripes Invitational. She finished third on vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth on beam. In 2010, Alexis won bars, beam and the all-around at the Winter Graffiti Invitational. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Pink Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. Alexis finished second all-around at Regionals. She did not compete on floor at Easterns.

She began competing level ten in the 2010-2011 season. She opened the season with a third place finish on floor at the Christmas on the Chesapeake.
