Lauren Cahalan was born on January 10, 1996. She trains at Rebounders in Maryland. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2005, Lauren competed level five. She moved up to level six in 2006. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. She competed level seven in 2007. She won vault and the all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2009, Lauren finished second all-around at the Hanover Classic. She won the all-around title at the Frederick Classic. At the State Championships, she won beam and the all-around. She finished in the top ten at Regionals.

Lauren began competing level nine during the 2009-2010 season. She finished second on vault at the Black-Eyed Susan meet. She won vault and placed third all-around at the World Class Invitational. She finished second on vault at the Brestyan's Invitational. In 2011, Lauren finished second all-around at the Flip Fest Invitational. She won vault and the all-around at the Pink Invitational. She placed first on bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She won beam and placed second all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Lauren placed first on beam and third on floor! She finished eighth all-around.
