Caitlyn Cantello was born on December 30, 1993. She began gymnastics at Berks East. After moving to Virginia in 2000, she began training at Karon's Gymnastics. After the 2005 season, she moved to Marvateens. She began training at Apollo in the fall of 2008. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2004, Caitlyn competed level seven. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2005. She finished fourth all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the State Championships, she placed second on floor and eighth all-around. Caitlyn began competing level nine in 2006. She finished 20th all-around at Regionals. In 2007, she placed third all-around at the Crystal Cup. She finished second on bars and fifth all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she finished first on beam and 16th all-around.
After missing the 2008 season, Caitlyn had a fantastic 2009 season. She finished first on vault and bars at the Frederick Classic. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the East Coast Classic. At the Rock n Roll Invitational, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. Caitlyn won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on floor and the all-around. Caitlyn won the all-around title at Easterns! She also placed second on bars, fifth on beam and second on floor.
Caitlyn began competing level ten in 2010. She finished second on bars at the Cancun Classic and Maryland Classic. She placed third on bars at the Parkette Invitational. At the Magical Classic, Caitlyn finished third all-around. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Rock n Roll Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. Caitlyn did not compete at Regionals due to an ankle injury. In 2011, she won all five gold medals at the Rock n Roll Invitational. She competed at Regionals.
