Caroline Caponi was born on February 19, 1998. She trains at M&M Gymnastics.
In 2006, she competed level six in the fall season. She qualified for the State Championships. Caroline immediately began competing level seven in 2007. She placed in the top ten at the IGI Chicago Style Invitational. At States, she finished fifth all-around and third on bars. Caroline skipped to level ten in 2009. She finished third all-around at the Midwest Challenge. At States, she placed 12th all-around. She then competed at Regionals. Caroline also competed as a hopes elite in 2009. She placed in the top fifteen at the US Challenge. She concluded her year by making the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall.
Caroline continued competing level ten and hopes in 2010. She placed first on floor and second all-around at the Midwest Challenge. At the Sand Dollar Invitational, she won beam, floor and the all-around as a hopes elite. She placed third at the Buckeye Classic. Caroline finished third all-around as a level ten at the Harley Davidson Invitational.
