Marie Case was born on April 22, 1992. She trained at Lakettes during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2003, Marie competed level nine. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Marie finished tenth on bars. She won floor at Regionals in 2004. Marie placed fifth on floor and in the all-around at Easterns. In 2006, she placed fourth on beam at Regionals. Marie competed level ten in 2008. She finished first on bars and second all-around at the Tiki Classic. She finished second on bars and floor at the State Championships. She placed in the top fifteen at Regionals.

Marie won beam and the all-around at the 2008 Christmas City Classic. In 2009, she finished first on bars and in the all-around at the Maryland Classic. She won bars at the Tiki Classic. At the State Championships, Marie finished fourth all-around. She placed third all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Marie placed first on floor! She finished fourth all-around, making the JO National Team. She also finished in the top ten on vault.

She began the 2009-2010 season at the Commonwealth Cup, winning vault, floor and the all-around. She then won all five gold medals at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet. At the CGA Coaches Spectacular, Marie won vault and the all-around. She won floor at the Cereal City Invitational. At the Pink Invitational, Marie won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. She finished fifth all-around at the Nastia Liukin Cup! At the State Championships, Marie won vault and bars. She finished second all-around. She won all five gold medals at Regionals with a 38.300!
