Cortni Baker was born on June 4, 1997. Her sister, April, is also a gymnast. Cortni trained at New England Gymnastics Training Center. She moved to Brestyan's after the 2007 season. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2006, Cortni competed level seven. She competed level eight in 2008. She finished fourth all-around at the Friendship Classic. She won floor at the State Championships. Cortni placed second on beam. She finished seventh all-around at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2009. She won vault and floor at the Parkette Invitational. At the State Championships, she won floor. At Regionals, Cortni won floor and finished second on bars. She placed seventh all-around, earning an alternate spot for Level 9 Easterns.

Cortni continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished third on bars at the Brestyan Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Starlight Invitational. Cortni finished third all-around at the AOGC Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault, beam and the all-around. She also won vault, beam and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed second on beam and fifth on floor and in the all-around.
