Chloe Borgese was born on January 14, 1998. Her older sister Desi is also a gymnast. She began gymnastics at West Valley Gymnastics. When her coach Diane Amos left West Valley she moved to Almaden Valley Gymnastics. At Almaden Valley she was coached by Donna Craig, who formerly coached Dominique Dawes. After the 2007 season she moved to Airborne Gymnastics where she currently trains today. She is coached by Justin Howell and Liz Crandall. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

Chloe's first competitive season was in the fall of 2006. She competed as a level five. Although new to the competitive field, her scores reflected a veteran's performance. At her first meet, the Tumbling in the Jungle, she won the all-around title! She also won vault and floor exercise titles. At the Begonia Gymfest in September, she won the all-around title. Chloe also won uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. Her next competition was the Red Line 500. She swept the gold medals! At the Hollywood Invitational, she finished first on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and in the all-around. TO qualify to the State Championships, Chloe had to compete at the Zone Meet, where she finished second in the all-around and won uneven bars and floor exercise. Her final level five meet was the Level 5 State Championships. She finished second on vault and uneven bars. Chloe also won balance beam, floor exercise and the all-around titles! In addition to her age division wins, Chloe had the third highest all-around score from all ages combined. This earned her a spot on the NorCal State Team.

Her next competitive season was in 2008. She competed as a level seven. In December, Northern California has a meet to pick six gymnasts to compete at the NAWGJ Judges Cup. Chloe had the highest all-around score out of all 111 gymnasts! She also had the highest beam and floor scores. In 2008, the meet was held in San Diego, California. Chloe finished third in the all-around and first on floor exercise. As a team, NorCal finished third. Her next meet was the Seattle Open. Chloe finished first in the all-around as well as first on uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. Chloe then won the bars, beam, floor and all-around titles at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. Her final invitational meet of the season was the Golden State Classic, where she won uneven bars, balance beam, and the all-around title. At the Level 7 State Championships, Chloe won the all-around title! She also won balance beam. Out of all the age divisions, she had the fourth highest score. She was named to the NorCal State Team again.

In 2009, Chloe competed level nine. She started her season in Utah at the Crystal Cup. She finished fourth all-around. Chloe placed third on both bars and beam at the Tachi Palace Invitational. Her next meet was the Winter Invitational which is hosted by San Mateo Gymnastics. Chloe won vault and floor as well as placing second all-around. A few weeks later, Chloe swept the gold medals at the Long Beach Open. She ended her season at the Byers Invitational, scoring her highest all-around score for the season, a 37.875. Chloe won four gold medals; bars, beam, floor and the all-around. She placed second on vault. She began competing level ten in 2011. She finished fourth on vault and floor at the Lady Luck Invitational.

Chloe also participated in the TOPs program. In 2007, she made the TOPs "B" Team. She then made the "A" team in 2008.
