Corinne Guerrero was born on September 23, 1998. Her older sister, Nichole, is also a gymnast. Corinne trained at WOGA for several years. She briefly trained at Kurt Thomas before moving to Eagle Wing's Athletics in 2005. She followed her coaches to Zenith Elite Gymnastics following the 2009 season. She will graduate from high school in 2016.
In 2006, Corinne competed level five. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Go For It Classic. She competed level six in the fall. She finished second all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. Corinne won floor at the State Championships. She immediately began competing level seven in 2007. She won vault and floor at the Statewide Qualifier. She won vault at the Rose City Classic. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Texas Prime meet. She finished second on beam at the National Judges Cup. Corinne finished in the top ten all-around at the AOGC Invitational and Rose City Classic.
Corinne continued competing level eight in 2009. She won beam at the Texas Prime meet. At the WOGA Classic, she won vault, beam and the all-around. At the Metroplex Challenge, she finished second all-around. Corinne also finished second all-around at the California Classic. She finished first on beam at the Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, Corinne finished second on floor and fifth all-around. She ended her season at Regionals, finishing in the top fifteen. She moved up to level nine in 2010. She finished second on floor at the Kurt Thomas Invitational. Corinne placed third on floor and 14th all-around at the State Championships.
