Samantha Chauvin was born on January 21, 1998. She trained at GAB Norwood through the 2006 season. She then moved to New England Sports Academy (NESA). She will graduate from high school in 2016.
In 2006, Samantha competed level four. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2007. She finished first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Brestyan Invitational. At the Starlight Invitational, she won beam and the all-around. She placed first on bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. Samantha moved up to level six in 2008. She finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Boston Classic. At the Ocean State Classic, she won bars, floor and the all-around. Samantha won bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships.
Samantha skipped level seven and competed level eight in 2009. She finished first on beam at the East Coast Classic. At the Little Bigger Invitational, she won all five gold medals. She finished first on bars and third all-around at the State Championships. Samantha won bars at Regionals. She placed second all-around. Samantha moved up to level nine in 2010. She placed first on bars, floor and the all-around at the Ready Or Not meet. She finished second all-around at the Excalibur Cup. At the Starlight Invitational, she placed first on floor and third all-around. Samantha finished in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on bars and second all-around. Samantha finished 12th all-around at Easterns. She did not compete during the 2010-2011 season. In December of 2011, Samantha competed level ten at the Yellow Jackets Holiday Invite.
