Teresa Ciambrone was born on March 17, 1993. She trained at Olympic Gymnastics Center in Illinois during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2011.
In 2005, Teresa competed level eight. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. Teresa moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished third on floor at the IGI Chicago Style. Teresa continued competing level nine in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, she won beam at the St. Jude Benefit meet. She finished first on beam and third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, she placed first on beam and fifth all-around. Teresa competed at Easterns.
Teresa continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She won beam at the State Championships. She placed second all-around. She was the alternate for Easterns. In 2011, she finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at both the St. Jude Benefit meet and Wisconsin Dells Vacation Classic. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She won beam. At Regionals, she won bars and beam. Teresa won the all-around title at Easterns! She also placed fourth on bars, third on beam and third on floor.
