Sheriese Clark was born on July 27, 1993. She trains at Excalibur Gymnastics in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was a National TOP Team Member in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.
She competed as a level nine in 2003. At the State Championships, she won vault and bars. She took home the silver in the all-around. After Regionals, she competed at Easterns. She placed fourth on floor and sixth on vault! Sheriese moved up to level ten in 2004. At States, she won the all-around title. At Regionals, Sheriese placed ninth, barely missing a spot for JO Nationals. She changed that in 2005. After taking second at States, she placed fifth all-around at Regionals! At JO Nationals, Sheriese placed in the top ten on vault, bars, beam and in the all-around! After the level ten season, she competed as a child pre-elite at the US Challenge.
Sheriese competed in a few open meets in 2006. In 2007, Sheriese came back to qualify to junior international elite! She finished sixth all-around at the Gymnix International. At the American Classic in May, she qualified for the US National Championships. Sheriese competed at the US National Championships in August. In 2008, she won the Parkette Invitational. She competed at the Gymnix International. She finished second on floor during event finals. She also competed in event finals on vault and bars. She competed on three events at the US Classic. She placed sixth on vault.
In 2010, Sheriese returned to level ten. She won vault at the Excalibur Cup. She finished fourth all-around. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. She won vault. At Regionals, Sheriese finished third on vault, first on floor and fourth all-around. At JO Nationals, she placed eighth on vault. She finished 12th all-around.
