Alyssa Click was born on January 23, 1991. She trained at Multnomah Athletic Club during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2009.

In 2002, Alyssa competed level seven. She finished second on bars and third on beam at the Mystery Classic. She competed level eight in 2004. In 2005, she won the all-around title at the Hard Rock Invitational. She moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished first on floor at the All American Invitational. She finished second all-aorund and first on bars at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fourth on floor. She placed 18th all-around. In 2007, Alyssa finished first on bars at the IGHOF Invitational. She finished first on beam and third all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, Alyssa won the all-around title! She also placed sixth on vault, fifth on bars and beam and second on floor.

Alyssa competed level ten in 2008. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished third all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. Alyssa won bars and the all-around at the Golden State Classic. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. Alyssa won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished 28th all-around. In 2009, Alyssa finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the MAC Open. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she won all five gold medals! At Regionals, Alyssa won vault, bars, beam and the all-around. She placed fourth on bars and fifth on beam. She finished 13th all-around!

As a freshman at Southern Utah in 2010, Alyssa competed on bars and beam in every meet. She competed on floor in all but one meet. She was named WAC Freshman of the Year.
