Courtney Connors was born on September 24, 1991. She trained at Rines Gymnastics through the 2004 season. She then moved to Stumpf's. She graduated from high school in 2009.

In 2003, Courtney competed level eight. She won vault at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2004. She qualified to Regionals. Courtney began competing level ten in 2005. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. Courtney placed fourth on vault and floor at Regionals in 2006. In 2007, she placed first on floor and second on vault at Regionals. She qualified to JO Nationals. Courtney finished third on vault at Regionals in 2008. In 2009, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Graffiti Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Daytona Beach Open. Courtney won vault and floor at the Rock n Roll Classic. At the State Championships, she placed second on vault and third on floor. Courtney finished second on floor at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.

As a freshman at UNH in 2010, Courtney competed on vault and floor throughout the season. She earned EAGL All-Tournament First-Team honors on vault and second-team honors on floor. She was a NACGC/W Scholastic All-American. In 2011, Courtney continued to compete on vault and floor. She placed second on floor at the UNH Invitational and second on floor in a dual meet against Rutgers. She earned EAGL All-Academic Team honors.
