Hayley Cook was born on August 18, 1994. She trained at Spirit Gymnastics through the 2004 season. She then spent three years with Berks East. She began training at Silvia's Gymnastics before the 2008 season.

In 2003, Hayley competed level five. She moved up to level six in 2004. She finished third on floor at the Buckeye Classic. She won vault and floor at the Friendship Classic. Hayley moved up to level seven in 2005. She won beam at the Hugs and Kisses meet. She competed level eight in 2006. She won vault at both the Beach Invitational and Dutch Classic. She continued competing level eight in 2007, finishing fourth all-around at the Dutch Classic.

Hayley began competing level nine in 2008. She finished second on vault and the all-around at the State Championships. She did not compete on vault at Regionals. In 2009, Hayley finished fourth all-around at the Silvia Invitational. She won a bronze medal on floor at the Capital Cup. At the State Championships, she won beam. She finished ninth all-around at Regionals. She moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Silvia Invitational. She placed in the top twenty at both the State and Regional Championships.
