Nicole Corkill was born on May 31, 1994. She trained at Fox Gymnastics until 2006. She then moved to Pozsar's Gymnastics for on season. Nicole began competing for Airborne in 2008. She moved to Edge in the summer of 2012. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2005, Nicole competed level five. She placed second all-around and first on floor at the Gold Country Classic. She finished tenth all-around at the State Championships. She skipped level six and began competing level seven in 2007. She finished second on bars and fourth all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed seventh all-around. Nicole repeated level seven in 2008. She won beam at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around.
Nicole moved up to level eight in 2009. She won beam at the Crystal Cup. At the Tachi Palace Invitational, she finished third all-around. Nicole placed second on floor at the WOGA Classic and third on beam at the Long Beach Open. At the State Championships, she won beam and placed second all-around. Nicole finished her season with a third place finish on bars, floor and the all-around at Regionals. She also placed second on beam. Nicole competed level nine in 2010. She won bars at the Wine Country Classic. At the AOGC Invitational, she won vault, beam and the all-around. At Regionals, she placed sixth all-around. She ended her season at Westerns. In 2011, Nicole finished second all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Gliders Invitational. Nicole won beam at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge and Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, Nicole won vault, beam and the all-around. She placed sixth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, Nicole placed fourth on vault and first on beam! She finished 20th all-around.
