Cassidy Robinson was born on February 24, 1995. She trained at Gymnastiks Unlimited through the 2007 season. She then moved to Gedderts' Twistars USA. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2005, Cassidy competed level five. She competed at the State Championships. She moved up to level six in 2006. She competed at the State Championships. In 2007, Cassidy finished second on bars at the Tulip City Invitational. In 2008, Cassidy finished first on vault, bars and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She placed first on bars, beam and the all-around at the For Love or Money. Cassidy moved up to level seven for the rest of the season. In 2009, she won bars at the Twistars Invitational and Battle of Champions.

She finished the 2009 season as a level eight. Cassidy finished second all-around at the US Airborne Invitational. She won bars at the Arena Classic. At the State Championships, she placed second on bars. Cassidy also finished second on bars at Regionals. In 2010, she finished first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at both the Twistars Invitational and Battle of Champions. She won bars and the all-around at the San Diego Classic. Cassidy placed second all-around at the For Love or Money meet. She won the all-around title at the Wolverine Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and the all-around. She finished second all-around at Regionals.

Cassidy began competing level nine in 2011. She finished first on bars at the Twistars Invitational. She won floor at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. Cassidy placed third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style.
