Courtney Soliwoda was born on September 6, 1996. Her twin sister, Caitlin, is also a gymnast. Courtney trained at Go For It USA through the 2008 season. She then moved to Vitaly Scherbo School of Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2004, Courtney competed level four. She finished first on vault at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2005. She finished first all-around at the State Championships. In the fall, she competed level six. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. In 2006, Courtney finished second on vault at the Hard Rock Invitational. She finished tenth all-around at the State Championships. In the fall, she finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. In 2007, Courtney won vault and floor at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed first all-around at the Go For It Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam and the all-around.

Courtney competed level seven in 2008. She won vault and beam at the Go For It Classic. She won beam and floor at the State Championships. She placed second all-around. She moved up to level eight in 2009. She finished first on bars at the Vitaly Scherbo Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Surf City Classic. She placed third all-around at the Malibu Coast Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished third on bars. She finished second all-around at Regionals. Courtney competed level nine in 2010. She finished second all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won vault and floor at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. At the Malibu Coast Challenge, she won bars, beam and the all-around. She finished first on bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished second on bars and sixth all-around at Regionals. Courtney finished second on bars, sixth on vault and seventh all-around at Westerns. Courtney began competing level ten in 2011. She won bars and beam at her only competition of the season, the Vitaly Scherbo Invitational.
