Joanna Cuba was born on April 4, 1994. She trains at Acrotex. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In the fall of 2006, Joanna competed level six. She won vault at the State Championships. She placed third all-around. In 2008, Joanna competed level eight. She moved up to level nine in 2009. She won beam at the WOGA Classic. She placed second all-around. At the Texas Prime meet, she won bars. Joanna won bars and floor at the Alamo Classic. She won bars and the all-around at the Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, she won floor. She placed second all-around and first on bars at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fourth on bars, sixth on beam and fifth all-around.
Joanna began competing level ten in 2010. She finished in the top ten at the Metroplex Challenge. She finished second on bars at the Heart of Texas meet. She did not compete in 2011. In 2012, Joana finished first on bars and beam at the Alamo Classic. She placed secondall-around with a 37.375. She won beam at the Metroplex Challenge.
