Talyn Curry was born on June 19, 1990. She trained at Massachusetts Gymnastics Center- Westboro through the 2006 season. She then moved to Giguere's Gym. She graduated from high school in 2008.

In 2001, Talyn competed level nine. She qualified to Regionals. She moved up to level ten in 2002. She finished seventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2004, Talyn placed second on vault at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. Talyn finished first on floor and second all-around at Regionals in 2006. She competed at her third JO National Championships. In 2007, Talyn placed third all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. Talyn finished first on bars and second all-around at the State Championships in 2008.

As a freshman at Arizona in 2009, Talyn competed in ten meets on vault. She exhibitoned on beam and floor once. Talyn competed in thirteen meets on vault, four meets on beam and thirteen meets on floor in 2010. She retired after the 2010 season.
