Corrine Williams was born on July 4, 1990. She trained at Diamond Gymnastics before moving to First State Gymnastics. She graduated from high school in 2008.

In 2002, Corrine competed level eight. She finished twelfth all-around at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2003. She finished second on beam and fourth all-around at Regionals. Corrine finished 15th all-around at Easterns. In 2004, she won beam at the Sweetheart Invitational. She placed third on beam and first all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Corrine placed third on beam, eighth on floor and ninth all-around. Corrine moved up to level ten in 2005. She finished second on vault at the Cancun Classic. She placed third all-around at Regionals. Corrine finished fifth on beam at JO Nationals. In 2008, Corrine finished in the top ten at Regionals.

As a freshman at Temple, Corrine competed on vault, beam and floor. Corrine took second on beam at George Washington and at Ursinus. She was named ECAC Rookie of the Week after her first home meet. She placed second on vault and beam at Alaska-Anchorage. At the second dual meet at Alaska, she won beam. She finished second on floor at SCSU. Corrine earned second-team All-American honors on floor at USAG Nationals. During her sophomore season in 2010, Corrine competed in every meet. She mainly competed on vault, beam and floor. Corrine placed first on floor against Ursinus. She won floor at the ECAC Championships. Corrine earned USAG First-Team All-American honors on vault, beam and floor. She earned second-team honors in the all-around. As a junior in 2011, Corrine won floor at the ECAC Championships. She won the all-around title at the Sherri Calloway Memorial Invitational.
