Georgia Dabritz was born to Karl and Keven on October 15, 1992. She has one sister, Elise, who is a former gymnast. Georgia's brother, Russell, has competed at several JO National Championships. He was also on the Future Stars National Team. She trained at ACE Gymnastics in Massachusetts. She graduated from high school in 2011.

In 2003, Georgia competed as a level eight. She placed fourteenth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level nine in 2004. Georgia finished third at the American Invitational. At States, she finished second on bars and third on beam. She finished her season at Regionals. Georgia placed fifth on bars! After the level nine season, she qualified to TOPS Elite. Georgia competed at the US Challenge.

She did level nine again in 2005. At States, she won bars and finished second all-around. Georgia competed at Regionals again. She moved up to level ten for the 2006 season. Georgia had heel pain throughout the season so she did not compete all-around very much. Georgia did finish second on bars and fourth on beam at States. In the summer, she qualified to junior pre-elite. She competed at the US Challenge.

In 2007, She won bronze medals on vault and bars at the Brestyan Invitational. She won bars at Regionals. At the US Challenge, she won the overall competition. She also won bars. In 2008, she won bars and the all-around at the Aquafina Team Challenge. At the IGI Chicago Style, she finished second on bars. In December, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Holiday Invitational.

Georgia had a successful 2009. She opened the year at the Brestyan Invitational. She finished third on vault at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she won a silver medal on vault. She won the all-around at States. She won vault and beam. At Regionals, she won bars. She finished second all-around. She had a good performance at JO Nationals. In June, she qualified to senior international elite. She competed at the US National Championships. In 2010, Georgia finished third all-around at the Brestyan's Invitational and Team Challenge. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Cape Cod Classic. She competed at her second US National Championships. Georgia returned to level ten for the 2010-2011 season. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Cape Cod Classic. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Pilgrim Harvest Invitational. Georgia won all five gold medals at the Flip Fest Invitational. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at both the Little Bigger Invitational and Starlight Invitational. She competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup. Georgia placed first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault, bars, and the all-around. Georgia won bars, floor and the all-around at JO Nationals! She also placed second on vault.

Georgia competed on vault, bars and floor in every competition in as a freshman at Utah in 2012. She earned first-team All-American honors on vault. Georgia also earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors on floor and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. Georgia won bars at both the Pac-12 Championships and NCAA Regional Championships. She had twelve total event victories. Georgia was also on the Dean's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll. In 2013, Georgia earned first-team All-American honors on bars and the all-around and regular season All-American honors on vault and bars. Georgia finished second on bars at the NCAA Championships. At the NCAA Regional Championships, she won vault and bars. Georgia earned Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week twice and Pac-12 Specialist of the Week once. She was on the All-Pac-12 first-team for the all-around. Georgia scored a perfect ten on bars against Florida. She earned 20 event victories. Academically, Georgia was a second-team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree in addition to being on the Dean's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

In 2014, Georgia earned 22 individual titles. She was named Pac-12 Specialist of the Year. She earned All-PAC-12 first-team honors on vault, bars and floor. She earned five Pac-12 Specialist of the Week awards. Georgia earned first-team All-American honors on vault and second-team honors on bars. She earned regular season All-American first-team honors on bars and second-team on vault. She scored a perfect ten on floor and bars. She won vault, bars and floor at the Pac-12 Championships. Academically, Georgia was a first-team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree and NACGC/W Scholastic All-American in addition to being on the Dean's List and Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
