Chelsea Elizabeth Davis was born on November 2, 1992. She trained at National Elite Gymnastics in Austin, Texas until the spring of 2006. Chelsea now trains at Texas Dreams with Kim Zmeskal and her husband. Her favorite TV show is Lost. She enjoys country music.

In 2004, Chelsea competed level eight. She placed second all-around at the WOGA Classic. At the Texas State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around title. Her final meet of the season was Regionals. She won the all-around, vault and bars titles! In 2005, Chelsea moved up to level nine. She won the Kurt Thomas Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished first on vault and in the all-around! Her next meet was Regionals. She won bars and floor. Chelsea placed second all-around. This qualified her for the Level 9 Western Championships. She won the all-around title!

Chelsea moved up to level ten in 2006. She finished second all-around at the National Judges Cup. She competed at States and Regionals. With Texas Dreams Gymnastics, Chelsea qualified to junior international elite. At the US Classic, she qualified to the US Nationals. Unfortunately, Chelsea was injured in podium training. In 2007, Chelsea petitioned to the US National Championships. At Nationals, she finished fourth all-around despite watering down on some events. She made her first US National Team!

In November, she was named to the Jr. Pan American Games team. She won the bronze medal in the all-around and finished second on beam. Chelsea moved up to the senior division in 2008. She finished first all-around at the Gymnix International. At the Jesolo Grand Prix meet, she placed sixth all-around. She did not compete at the US National Championships because of a tweaked knee. Two weeks later, she competed at the Olympic Trials. She was named to the US Olympic Training Squad.

Chelsea spent 2009 out with a back injury. She slowly returned to compete at the Metroplex Challenge in 2010. She won uneven bars. At the Buckeye Classic, she won all five events and the all-around an impressive feat for her first all-around competition in eighteen months. She qualified for the 2010 Visa Championships.
