Kailah Delaney was born on November 5, 1993. She trains at Kips Gymnastics. Kailah will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2002, Kailah competed level five. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level six in 2003. She finished first on vault and floor at the State Championships. She placed fourth all-around. Kailah immediately began competing level seven in 2004. She finished first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the San Diego Classic. She placed second all-around at the California Classic. Kailah placed second all-around at the State Championships. She did not compete in 2005.

Kailah moved up to level nine for the 2006 season. She won vault at the San Diego Classic. Kailah finished second all-around at the Golden State Friendship Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished fourth all-around. Kailah placed second on vault and seventh all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed eighth on vault, fifth on bars, eighth on beam, first on floor and first all-around! Kailah began competing level ten in 2007. She won beam and the all-around at the Golden State Friendship Challenge. She placed first on vault and third all-around at the State Championships. Kailah finished in the top fifteen at Regionals.

Kailah continued competing level ten in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She won bars and beam at the Golden State Friendship Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam and floor. She finished second all-around. Kailah placed first on vault and seventh all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed sixth on beam, ninth on floor, and tenth on vault. She finished 13th all-around.

In 2009, Kailah finished first on vault and the all-around at the Long Beach Open. She placed first on beam at the Heart of a Champion Invitational. At the Glider Invitational, she won all five gold medals. Kailah won bars and beam at the Ready to Peak Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault and second all-around. Kailah finished first on vault and beam at Regionals. She finished seventh all-around. At JO Nationals, she finished first on vault, second on beam, seventh on floor and third all-around. She qualified to the JO National Team.

Kailah did not compete for most of the 2010 season. She returned for Regionals, winning vault and beam. She placed second all-around. At JO Nationals, Kailah placed fourth on vault and sixth on beam. In 2011, Kailah finished first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Malibu Coast Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed first on floor and the all-around. At Regionals, she won vault and the all-around.
