Christina Desiderio was born on August 22, 2000. She trained at Giants Gymnastics in New Jersey until the summer of 2010. She then moved to Parkettes.

In 2009, Christina competed level five. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on floor. She made the National TOPs Team. She competed level seven at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet. She placed second on vault and beam. Christina moved up to level eight for the 2010 season. She finished third all-around at the Rutgers Color Games. She placed fourth on floor at the Parkette Invitational. At the Manhattan Classic, she finished third all-around. She competed at the State Championships. Christina was named to the National TOPs "B" Team.

Christina competed level nine in 2011. She finished first on vault at the Maryland Classic. She placed second on bars and floor at the Excalibur Cup. At the Parkette Invitational, she won floor. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Magical Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault and second on beam. Christina finished eleventh all-around at Regionals.
