Ria Domier was born on October 1, 1992. She trained at Davis Diamonds during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.
In 2002, Ria competed level four in the fall. She finished first on bars and second all-around at the Far West Indies. She won floor at the Fall Finale. She competed level five in the spring of 2003. Ria won vault, bars and the all-around at the Flips Ahoy. She moved up to level six in the fall. She won bars at the Zone Championships. She competed at the State Championships. Ria immediately began competing level seven in 2004. She finished first on bars at the Snowflake invitational. She finished in the top ten all-around at the State Championships.
Ria began competing level eight in 2005. She finished fourth on vault at the Golden State Classic. She competed at both the State and Regional Championships. In 2006, Ria finished first on vault at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She placed third on vault and fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth on vault. She competed level nine in 2007. She finished second on floor at the MEGA Invite. Ria moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Gold Country Classic. She finished third on vault and floor at the State Championships.
She continued competing level ten in 2009. She finished third all-around at both the Snowflake Invitational and Gold Country Classic. At the Byers Invitational, she finished fourth all-around. In 2010, Ria finished first on vault at the Delta Classic. She finished second all-around at the Snowflake Invitational. Ria finished first on vault and fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished fourth on vault at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she finished third all-around. Ria also placed third on vault.
