Chelsea Drooger was born on July 3, 1992. She trains at USA Champion in Michigan.

She competed as a level eight at the Christmas Classic in late 2001. She won. She moved up to level nine a few months later. Chelsea finished third all-around at the 2002 Region 5 Cup. She competed as a level nine in 2003 again. She finished second all-around at Regionals. Chelsea finished 11th all-around at the Level 9 Eastern Championships.

In 2004, Chelsea competed as a level ten. She finished first on vault at the Michigan State Championships. At Regionals, she took the last spot to the JO National Championships. Chelsea finished sixth all-around at JO Nationals! In 2005, she finished fourth all-around at Regionals. She finished third all-around at the JO National Championships. This qualified her for the JO National Team. She did not have a very good year in 2006. She finished fourth all-around at States. Chelsea qualified to her third JO National Championships. In 2007, she qualified for her fourth JO Nationals after placing third all-around at Regionals.

Chelsea had a good season in 2008. At the US Airborne Invitational, she won vault and bars. She placed second all-around. She won bars at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed second all-around. She finished seventh all-around at JO Nationals. Chelsea continued to produce strong results in 2009. At the Twistars Invtational, she won vault and the all-around. She placed second all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She won bars. At the Tulip City Invitational, she placed second on vault and first all-around. At the US Airborne Invitational, she finished third all-around. She only competed on vault and floor at the Wolverine Classic. At States, she finished sixth all-around. She finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She placed second on vault and bars. At JO Nationals, she placed thirteenth all-around.
