Taylor Duckett was born on January 11, 1998. She trained at GymQuarters through the 2007 season. She then moved to Team Central. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2004, Taylor competed level four. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. Taylor competed level five in 2006. She won bars at the GymQuarters Invitational. She competed level six in the fall. She finished third all-around at the Fall State Championships. In 2007, she finished third all-around at the Fiesta Bowl invitational. Taylor won floor at the State Championships. She placed second all-around. In 2008, she won floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the State Championships.

Taylor skipped level seven and competed level eight in 2009. She won the all-around title at the Gateway Challenge. She finished second on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She won bars at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. At Regionals, she finished fourth on bars. In 2010, Taylor won bars at both the Sand Dollar Invitational and Gateway Challenge. She placed second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She competed on bars at the State Championships. Taylor moved up to level nine for the 2011 season. She finished third on beam at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. She placed third all-around at the Circle of Stars meet. At the Gateway Challenge, Taylor placed third on vault and beam. She did not compete in the championship season.
