Kaitlyn Duranczyk was born on April 13, 1995. She trained at Rohnert Park Gymnastics through the 2010 season. She then moved to Redwood Empire for one year. Kaitlyn currently trains at Edge. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2003, Kaitlyn competed level five. She finished second on floor at the Zone Championships. At the State Championships, Kaitlyn finished third on floor. She moved up to level six in 2004. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Zone Championships. Kaitlyn placed second on floor at the State Championships. She immediately began competing level seven in 2005. She finished third on beam at the Wine Country Classic. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships.
Kaitlyn competed level eight in 2006. She won vault at the Golden State Classic. She won floor at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge and State Championships. Kaitlyn finished in the top ten at Regionals. She began competing level nine in 2007. She finished first on floor at the San Diego Classic and Wine Country Classic. Kaitlyn had strong performances at both the State and Regional Championships. She did not compete for the majority of the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
She moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished first on beam at the Team OC Invitational. Kaitlyn won floor and the all-around at the Wine Country Classic. She won floor at the Battle in Seattle. At the State Championships, Kaitlyn placed third on bars. She competed at Regionals. She missed the 2011 season due to injury. Kaitlyn returned in 2012.
