Tori Durrence was born on March 18, 1994. She trains at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy in Plano, Texas.
Tori competed level fjve in September of 2002. She finished second all-around at the Rising Star Invitational. She won the Level 5 District Championship all-around, bars and beam titles. At the North State Championships, she finished third all-around. She was second on bars and third on beam.
She moved up to level six in 2003. She placed first all-around at the Level 6 District Championships. She then won the North State Championships. Besides the all-around title, she finished first on bars, beam and floor. At the Texas State Championships, Tori finished third on vault, bars, beam and in the all-around.
In 2005, Tori competed as a level eight. She finished second all-around at the Parkette Invitational. At the WOGA Classic, Tori finished fourth all-around. Tori won the American Twisters Invitational. She placed second all-around at States. Tori finished first on floor. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. Toi placed second on floor.
In 2006, she competed as a level nine. She finished second all-around at the California Classic. She won vault and floor. At the Level 9 State Championships, Tori finished second on bars and fifth on floor. At Regionals, she qualified for the Level 9 Western Championships by finishing sixth all-around. She was also third on bars. Tori finished her season at Westerns.
Her first meet as a level ten was the 2007 WOGA Classic. She finished third all-around! At the Metroplex Challenge, she finished second on bars. Tori did not compete all-around at States.
