Kelsi Eberly was born on September 12, 1992. She is the daughter of Karen and Kevin. Kelsi has one brother named Kody. Kelsi will graduate from Hempfield High School in 2011. She trains at Prestige Gymnastics in Pennsylvania.
In 2001, she placed third all-around at the level six state championships. She also won the gold on beam and floor. Kelsi moved up to level seven in 2002. At States, she won bars, beam and the all-around title. In 2003, Kelsey moved up another level to eight. At the State Championships, she won beam and floor. Kelsi also won another all-around state title. She moved up to the ninth level in 2004. Kelsi finished first on beam and second all-around at States. At Regionals, she won beam!
Kelsi moved up to level ten in 2005. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished tenth all-around. Kelsi competed as a junior pre-elite at the US Challenge in July. She did not compete in 2006 because of unknown reasons. In November, she competed at the Black-Eyed Susan Invitational. Kelsi easily won. In February, she finished second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She won floor. Kelsi finished second on floor at the Buckeye Classic in 2008. At the Fiesta Bowl Invitational, she won beam. Kelsi had a great meet at States. She won bars, beam and the all-around! She finished second on vault and third on floor. She finished fifth all-around at Regionals. She placed third on vault. Kelsi finished in the top twenty at JO Nationals!
She continued competing in the 2009 season. At the San Diego Classic, she finished second on bars and third on floor. She finished second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At States, she finished fourth on vault. At Regionals, she finished seventh all-around. She had a respectable finish at JO Nationals. In the fall, Kelsi committed to the University of Illinois.
