Cailee Ellsworth was born on December 11, 1992. She is the daughter of Mike and Cami. She has two brothers, Brady and Preston. Preston was also a gymnast at WOGA. She graduated high school in 2011. She trained at WOGA until the summer of 2009. Cailee then moved to Elite Champion.

In 2001, Cailee competed as a level five. She finished first all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. She also won the District Championships. At North State, Cailee finished third all-around. She placed second all-around and first on vault at States. She moved up to level six in 2002. She finished second all-around at the District Championships. Cailee placed second at States. She won beam and floor.

A few months later, she finished second all-around at the IG Hall of Fame meet as a level seven. She moved up to level eight for the 2004 season. Cailee finished first on bars and third all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She also finished third at the WOGA Classic. At States, Cailee placed third all-around and first on bars. Her final meet of the season was Regionals. She finished fourth all-around. She won bars.

Cailee moved up to level nine in 2005. She finished first in the all-around, vault, and beam at the American Twisters Invitational. At the Parkette Invitational, she finished second all-around. She won vault and bars. Cailee placed third all-around at States. At Regionals, she finished fourth all-around and first on vault. Her final meet of the season was Westerns. She finished in the top fifteen.

She moved up to level ten in 2006. Cailee finished fourth all-around at the California Classic. She won the WOGA Classic! She competed at States and Regionals. In 2007, Cailee placed fourth all-around at the WOGA Classic. She finished second at the Excalibur Cup. At States, she won beam and floor. She finished third in the all-around competition. At Regionals, she won a silver on floor. In 2008, Cailee finished third all-around at the Texas Prime Meet. She finished first on beam and third on bars. At the All Olympic Invitational, she finished third on vault and floor. She finished 15th all-around at Regionals. She was a member of the TWU Team in 2012. After taking a year off from gymnastics and attending Collin College, she transferred to Arkansas for the 2014 season. She competed on bars seven times.
