Sophia Febbraro was born on September 20, 1999. She trained at Lehigh Valley Sports Academy before moving to Parkettes. She is cyberschooled through Parkland School District and maintains a 4.0 GPA. She will graduate from Parkland High School in 2017. When she is not training at the gym and working on her studies, she enjoys art and playing violin.

She competed as a level four and five with Lehigh Valley Sports Academy. She won floor at the State Championships in 2008 as a level five. In 2009, Sophia competed level six. She finished second on bars at the Maryland Classic. She placed third all-around at the Parkette Invitational. At the Pancott Invitational, she finished second all-around. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. Sophia competed level seven in 2010. She finished fourth all-around at the National Judges Cup. She then moved up to level eight. Sophia competed at the State Championships.

Sophia competed level nine in 2011. She finished third on beam and fourth all-around at the Maryland Classic. She finished third on beam at the State Championships. She placed in the top ten all-around. At Regionals, she finished in the top twenty all-around.
