Alexandra Feeken was born on May 29, 1992. Her younger sister, Rachel, is also a gymnast. Alexandra trained at YMCA Aerials through the 2007 season. She then moved to LaFleur's Tampa. Alexandra graduated from high school in 2010.
In 2007, Alexandra competed level eight. She finished third on beam at the Gasparilla Classic. She won vault at the State Championships. She placed fourth all-around. Alexandra also finished fourth all-around at Regionals. In 2008, she competed level ten. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. In 2009, Alexandra won bars at the National Judges Cup. She placed third on beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won bars at the Daytona Beach Open. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals.
Alexandra had a strong season in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Tampa Bay Classic. She placed second on beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational and Tim Rand Invitational. At the Daytona Beach Open, she finished fourth all-around. Alexandra finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed fourth on bars. She competed at JO Nationals.
During her freshman season at Minnesota in 2011, Alexandra competed on beam in every meet.
