Rachael Flam was born on July 12, 1999. She trains at Stars Houston.

In 2006, Rachael competed level four. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the National Judges Cup. She made the Diamond National TOPs Team in 2007. In 2008, Rachael placed first on bars and seventh all-around at the Level 7 South State Championships. At the State Championships, she finished 16th all-around. She made the National TOPs Team in the fall. Rachael moved up to level eight in 2008. She won bars at the State Qualifier. At the National Judges Cup, she placed third on bars. She finished second on bars at the Texas Prime meet. At the Palm Beach Invitational, she finished fourth all-around. She placed fourth on bars at the State Championships. She finished sixth all-around. At Regionals, Rachael finished 21st all-around. She made her second National TOPs Team in the fall.

Rachael competed level nine in 2010. She finished second all-around at the Texas Prime meet and AOGC Invitational. At the Rose City Classic, she placed third all-around. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second on vault, beam and in the all-around. She ended her season at Westerns, finished ninth all-around, fifth on vault and sixth on vault. After the level nine season, she qualified to hopes.
