Leah Flanagan was born on October 9, 1997. She trains at LaFleur's Academy of Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2009, Leah competed level seven. She placed third on vault at the Midwest Challenge. She finished in the top ten at the Daytona Beach Open. She won floor at the Harley Davidson meet. She placed third on floor at the OGC Optional Invitational. She finished second on floor at the State Championships. In 2010, she finished second on bars and third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Lady Luck Invitational, she won vault.

Leah competed level eight in 2011. She finished first on floor at the Team Spirit Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Circle of Stars. At the IGI Chicago Style, she won vault. She finished fourth on vault at the Harley Davidson meet. At the State Championships, she won vault and the all-around. She finished in the top ten at Regionals. In 2012, Leah moved up to level nine. She finished third on vault and bars at hte island Adventure meet. She finished second on floor at the Salto National Invitational. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. Leah finished in the top twenty at Regionals.
