Nicolle Marie Ford was born to Lori and Charles on March 29, 1985. She has one brother, Matt. Nicolle trained with Daile VanPatten and Natalia Laschenova at Southern Tier Gymnastics during her club career.

During her club career, she competed as an international elite and a level ten. She competed at the JO National Championships in 1998. She qualified to the junior national championships in 2000. In 2001, she competed at the senior national championships. Nicolle competed at the JO Nationals four times. She is now a senior at the University of Utah.

As a freshman in 2004, she was a first-team All-American on bars and beam. She was a second-team All-American on beam. During her sophomore year, she was named to the All-American second team on bars. She competed in the all-around at every meet except for one. She was a NACGC Scholastic All-American. As a junior, she was first-team All-American on bars and vault. She was named to the second team in the all-around. During her senior season, she was a first-team All-American on vault. At Regionals, she won uneven bars. She won twenty-one individual wins. She ended her career with eight all-american honors.
