Ashley Foss was born on November 18, 1998. She trains at North Stars Gymnastics in New Jersey.

In 2006, Ashley competed level five. She competed level seven in 2008. She won floor at the Parkette Invitational. She placed second all-around. In the fall, she made the National TOPs "B" Team. In 2009, Ashley competed level eight. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the Winter Classic. She won vault at the Brestyan Invitational. She placed second all-around. She won bars and the all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She finished fourth on bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed fourth all-around. In December, Ashley was named to the National Team Training Squad.

Ashley competed level nine in 2009. She won floor at the Parkette Invitational. She placed second all-around. At the State Championships, she finished third on vault and floor. At Regionals, she placed second on beam and floor. She won the all-around title. She did not compete at Easterns. In July, she qualified to hopes.
