Kelli Fournier was born in Bellevue, Washington on March 24, 1988. She trained at Gymnastics East in Washington during her club career. She enjoys rock climbing and hiking. Kelli graduated from Bellevue Christian High School in 2006. She is now a freshman at San Jose State University.

In 2000, Kelli competed as a level six. By 2002, she was competing as a level eight. She qualified to Regionals. In 2004, Kelli competed as a level nine. She finished second all-around at the Desert Devils Classic. She finished fourth all-around at the California Classic. Kelli won the bronze in the all-around at the Level 9 State Championships. At Westerns, she finished second all-around! In 2005, Kelli moved up to level ten. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She won vault. At Regionals, Kelli won the all-around title. Her final meet of the season was the JO National Championships.

She continued competed as a level ten in 2006. Kelli finished fourth all-around at States. She was fifth at Regionals. Her final level ten meet was the JO National Championships. As a freshman at San Jose State, she competed on beam in all twelve meets. During her sophomore season, she won beam against Fullerton. She competed in eleven meets. In 2009, she competed on beam in seven meets.
