Jocelyn Fowler was born on May 23, 1991. She trained at American Gymnastics in Alabama through the 2005 season. She then spent two years with JFJ Elite before moving to Bama Bounders. She graduated from high school in 2008.
In 2004, Jocelyn competed level nine. She won vault at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She competed at Regionals. In 2005, she won beam at the Vegas Vacation meet. Jocelyn competed level ten in 2006. She won vault and beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. Jocelyn won vault, floor and the all-around at the 2008 IGI Chicago Style. She won beam and floor at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
As a freshman at Alabama in 2009, she was a Scholastic All-American. She was a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Jocelyn competed on floor at Auburn. During her sophomore season, she earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. She retired after the 2010 season.
