Simone Naomi Freidman was born On May 27, 1995. Simone has been doing gymnastics since she was two-years-old. She has trained at Capital under Tatiana Perskaia for the past six years. Simone is also an exceptional diver. She holds records in her league.

Simone competed as a level five in 2004. She competed at the Virginia State Championships. She moved up to level six in 2005. She finished in the top ten all-around at States. She advanced to level seven in 2006. Simone won vault and the all-around title at States! She also won a silver medal on floor. Simone moved up to level eight in 2007. She finished first all-around at States! She won bars and floor as well as a silver medal on vault. Simone continued to rise through the levels in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Level 9 State Championships. She won floor. At Regionals, she finished fourth on bars. More importantly she qualified for Easterns! Later that year, Simone competed at the Maccabiah Games Trials in Oklahoma City. She finished third all-around. Simone is now a member of the six gymnast USA delegation that will compete in Israel at the 2009 Maccabiah Games. The games will be held in July of 2009.

Simone competed level ten in 2009. She won beam at the Excalibur Cup. At States, she placed third on vault and floor. She finished fifth all-around. Simone finished sixth on floor at Regionals. Simone competed at the Maccabiah Games. She helped the United States place second. She finished second on bars and floor. In 2010, Simone placed fourth in the all-around and first on floor exercise At the Virginia USAG State Championships. In 2011, Simone placed sixth in the all-around and first on floor exercise at the Level 10 State Championships. At the Level 10 Regionals, she placed tenth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise. She was invited to compete at the Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament in Long Beach, California where she placed fifth on floor exercise.
