Brittany Michelle Frentrop was born on July 7, 1994 in Kansas. She lives with both her parents Mike and Sandy Frentrop. Brittany is the youngest child having an older sister, Jamie Jo. She is home schooled part time and also attends Clark Middle School. Brittany loves chocolate, shopping, going to the movies and hanging out with friends. She plays the clarinet and piano.

Brittany, nickname Shortstack, began doing gymnastics at Kansas Kips in Shawnee, Kansas at the age of 5. At the age of seven, Brittany moved to Kansas Gymnastics and Cheer (KGDC) where she has competed Levels 5 - 9 coached by Annie Duncan Heffernon and James Sampel. Brittany competed two meets as a Level 7 and then moved on to compete as a Level 8. Brittany competed in the 2005 Kansas Judges Cup where she took a spot on the Kansas Team to compete at the Level 7 National Judges Cup in New Orleans there she placed 3rd All Around. Brittany took 1st place All Around at her Level 8 State Meet and then placed 1st on floor, 2nd on Beam and 3rd All around at Level 8 Regional Championships.

In 2007, Brittany competed as a level nine. She finished sixth all-around at the Regional Championships. This qualified her to the Region III team for Westerns. Westerns is the highest competition a level nine can attend. At Westerns, Brittany finished 12th all-around. She is currently training for elite. She was hampered by an injury in 2008.
