Francesca Swoboda was born on December 2, 1996. Her sister, Nicolette, is also a gymnast. Francesca trained at Royal T'S until the spring of 2007. She finished the season at Hot Shots. After the 2008 season, she moved to Gold Medal Gymnastics Center. Francesca will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2007, Francesca competed level seven. She finished third on beam at the Brestyan Invitational. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Spirit of American meet. Francesca continued competing level eight in 2009. She won beam at the Little Bigger Invitational. She placed in the top twenty at the State Championships. At Regionals, Francesca finished second on beam and tenth all-around.

Francesca moved up to level nine in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Brestyan's Invitational. She won the all-around at the Team Challenge. Francesca finished first on bars at the Manhattan Classic. At the Regional Championships, she placed second all-around. She ended her season at Easterns, placing second on bars, sixth on beam, fourth on floor and third all-around!
