Erica Fuchs was born on December 2, 1998. She trained at Flippers Gymnastics until the summer of 2008. She then moved to Parkettes.
In 2008, Erica competed level five in the spring. She moved up to level six in the fall. She won the all-around title at the Trick'n'Treat Invitational. She then moved up to level seven. She finished third all-around at the Parkette Invitational in 2009. Erica qualified to the Pennsylvania Team for the National Judges Cup in 2010. She won bars and the all-around. She moved up to level eight for the rest of the 2010 season. She placed fourth on bars at the Brestyan Invitational. She won beam at the Parkette Invitational. Erica competed level nine in some meets. She finished second on floor at the Excalibur Cup. Erica finished fifth all-around at the State Championships as a level eight.
Erica competed level nine in 2011. She won beam at the Maryland Classic. She finished second all-around at the Parkette Invitational. At the Magical Classic, she won bars and the all-around. Erica placed second on vault at the State Championships. She won beam and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Erica won beam! She also placed sixth on floor. She finished tenth all-around.
