Rebecca Fuss was born on November 28, 1984. She is the daughter of Lawrence and Catherine Fuss. She has one sister, Alicia. Rebe attended Dr. Phillips High School. She trained at Orlando Metro Gymnastics during her club career.

In 2001, Rebecca competed level ten. She finished third on beam at Regionals. She qualified to Regionals again in 2002. 2003 was her senior season. She finished third all-around at States. At Regionals, Rebecca placed fourth all-around. This qualified her for the JO National Championships. That was her final club meet.

She began attending Eastern Michigan University. She competed in all eleven meets. Rebecca was named MAC Freshman of the Year. She won several titles throughout the season. She also had the third highest all-around total in school history. Rebecca competed in all meets in her sophomore season as well. She finished second on beam at the MAC Championships. Rebecca had a good junior and senior season.
