Brianna Gades was born on July 3, 1993. She trains at Phoenix Gymnastics Academy. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2001, Brianna began competing level five. She competed level seven in 2004. She finished first on bars and beam at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won bars at the Winter Classic. At the Sweetheart Invitational, she placed second all-around. She won beam and the all-around at the Desert Devils Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars and floor. She placed second all-around. Brianna competed level eight in 2005. She finished third all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on beam. Brianna did not compete in 2006.

Brianna moved up to level nine in 2007. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She finished first on bars and floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At the Hard Rock Invitational, she won bars and the all-around. Brianna placed second all-around and first on bars and beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth on floor. She won bars at Westerns. She finished 20th all-around. She began competing level ten in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and third all-around. She finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished 19th all-around.

She finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won bars and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Fiesta Bowl Invitational, she finished second all-around. Brianna won vault, bars and the all-around at the Hardrock Invitational. She placed first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won her only event, beam. She finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed second on beam and sixth all-around. In 2010, Brianna won beam at the Classic Rock Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the Jazz Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around and first on beam. She also won beam and placed second all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed second on beam and 14th all-around. In 2011, Brianna won bars and beam at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished first on bars at the Malibu Coast Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished fourth all-around. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals.
