Elizabeth Gangale was born on June 5, 1996. She trained at Victor's Gymnastics in New York through the 2007 season. She moved to Zenith Academy for two years. Elizabeth trained at Rochester Gymnastics Academy in 2010. She began competing for Brown's Las Vegas in 2011. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2005, Elizabeth won vault, bars and the all-around at the State Championships. She then moved up to level six. She won vault at the State Championships. She made the National TOPs "B" Team. Elizabeth competed level eight in 2006. She qualified to Regionals. Elizabeth also qualified to Regionals in 2007 as a level eight. She made the National TOPs "B" Team. She moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished first on vault and floor at Regionals. She placed second all-around. At Easterns, she finished 13th all-around.
Elizabeth began competing level ten in 2009. She won beam at the Graffiti Invitational. In 2010, Elizabeth finished fourth all-around at Regionals. She placed second on beam and third on floor. She competed on bars and beam at JO Nationals. In 2011, Elizabeth finished first on vault, bars and the all-around at the Malibu Coast Challenge. She won vault at the State Championships. She placed third all-around. At Regionals, Elizabeth finished fourth all-around. At JO Nationals, she won the all-around title! She finished first on vault, fifth on bars, and tenth on beam.
