Ciara Gardner was born on February 21, 1996. She trained at WOGA Dallas until 2006 when she relocated to the Plano location. Ciara is coached by Natasha Boyarskaya and Laurent Landi. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

As a level five in 2005, Ciara finished fourth all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. She qualified for the State Championships in the gold division. She moved up to level six in 2006. She won the all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational and Judges Cup. At the District Championships, she won bars and floor. Ciara finished second all-around at the North State Championships. At States, she won vault and bars in addition to finishing second all-around. Ciara competed one level seven meet in 2007, winning vault at the WOGA Classic.

In 2008, Ciara competed level eight. She finished third all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the WOGA Classic. At the Dragon Invitational, she swept the gold medals. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, she finished second all-around. Ciara won vault and floor at Regionals!

Ciara competed level nine in 2009. She finished second all-around at the WOGA Classic. At the Metroplex Challenge, she won vault, bars, beam and the all-around. She placed second all-around at the Great West Gym Fest. At Regionals, she placed second all-around. She won bars and beam. At Westerns, Ciara won the all-around title! She finished second on bars and third on beam and floor.

She moved up to level ten in 2010. Her season started slowly as she recovered from a wrist injury. She competed only on bars at the WOGA Classic. At the Houston National Invitational, she won bars and placed fifth all-around. Ciara placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She placed third on bars and first on beam. At Regionals, she finished in the top fifteen.
